A performance-based presentation using 16mm educational films. The lunar cycles, solar radiation, and planetary orbits were layered and altered with lens, masking and gel manipulations. Performed in two versions, one was a collaboration with Owen O'Toole in San Francisco for a show at The Justice League, the other was presented as a part of ~scope at The Western Front, and involved 6 projectors and live manipulated sound in collaboration with Brad Poulsen, Brian Johnson, and Claudio Cacciotti. These were the first space materials I had used and led to a more formally shaped and composed piece entitled nightsky.
