The images are made up entirely of black leader with short burst of a single frame flash of a sailboat in the water, followed by clear leader (which begins at the moment the “lights go on” in the script). The film was an attempt to address the social/anti-social cinema-going experience and literally transcribe it in a manner which forces the audience to confront the same discomfort as the voice-over describes.
